WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
As a child, Alero was often happiest in the kitchen. While other kids rushed outside to play, she loved staying close to the oven—mixing ingredients, experimenting with recipes, and even hosting playful “cooking shows” for her family.
Her earliest inspiration came from her Aunt Bunmi, whose cakes and desserts filled the home with warmth, laughter, and the irresistible aroma of something sweet baking in the oven.
Watching and helping her aunt in the kitchen planted the seed for what would later become Alero Gourmet Treats.

Alero is the founder and baker behind Alero Gourmet Treats. What began as a childhood love for baking grew into a lifelong passion for creating desserts that bring comfort, joy, and connection.
Inspired by family kitchens, tradition, and the encouragement of loved ones, she officially turned her passion into a business in 2008.
